ZERO'S SUGAR (female) (AKC WG-296046) was born 3 June 1987, bred by Ernie Houston. She was pure white with brown eyes and a lovely coat. With only one pure Seppala dog showing in her five-generation pedigree, Sugar could nonetheless have passed for a very nice Seppala bitch. So much does form follow function that Zero dogs and Seppalas often bear a striking resemblance to one another despite the genetic distance between them. Isa Boucher (then living in Spain) visited Zero Kennels and purchased Sugar from Harris Dunlap in 1990; she bred her to her great-grandsire ZEROS MILKY-WAY 2nd in Denmark.
